I saw a couple of drawing apps for the Nintendo DS linked over at DS Fanboy today and grabbed one of them to try out. This is entirely done in Colours! [link] on my DS Lite.
No layers, erasers or undo
Photoshop has spoilt me, but I love this to bits - it's like a little digital sketchbook. The DS is even pressure sensitive - I thought it was just a basic on/off touchscreen kind of thing, but it has levels of pressure!
The most interesting thing is that the app produces files similar to OpenCanvas event files - and you can view them easily:
1) Download this tiny java applet: [link]
2) Download the .drw file: [link]
3) Run the applet and open my .drw file!
Now you can see all my mistakes! The applet doesn't render it entirely perfectly, but you get the idea. And if you don't want to die before it completes, set to the fastest speed

Lovely, i have colors on my ds, the maximum pics you can save on it is about 99 and it has settings for the transparency of the brush and the size according to the pressure made with the stylus.
(press hard: thick, solid coloured line, press lightly: thin, transparent line)
